One way street system will be introduced to several routes at Gurney and Kelawai Road area, including several major roads. All changes will be in test run period for 3 months.
According to Penang City Council ( MPPP ) , routes will be change are:
1) Part of Jalan Burma from Jalan Bagan Jermal to Jalan Pangkor. Direction of flow - one way from Jalan Bagan Jermal junction to Jalan Pangkor junction
2) Jalan Kelawai. Direction of flow - one way from Jalan Pangkor junction to Jalan Bagan Jermal/Jalan Tanjong Tokong junction
3) Persiaran Gurney. One way traffic from junction of Jalan Pemenang towards Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah
4) Jalan Cantonment. Two way traffic from Jalan Burma to Jalan Kelawai
5) Jalan Cantonment. One way traffic from Jalan Yeoh Guan Seok to Jalan Burma
6) Lebuhraya Codrington. One way traffic from Burma Road to Jalan Yeoh Guan Seok
7) Jalan Pemenang. One way traffic from Jalan Kelawai to Persiaran Gurney
Jalan Yeoh Guan Seok. One way traffic from Lebuhraya Codrington to Jalan Cantonment
9) Lorong Kucing. One way traffic from Jalan Berjaya to Jalan Burma
10) Lorong Pulau Tikus. One way traffic from Jalan Burma to Jalan Berjaya
11) Lebuhraya Maktab. One way traffic from Jalan Kelawai to Jalan Burma
12) Lorong Maktab from Jalan Burma to Jalan Kelawai
13) Medan Maktab one way anti clockwise
14) Lorong Leandros. One way traffic from Jalan Kelawai to Jalan Burma
15) Jalan Concordia. One way traffic from Persiaran Gurney to Jalan Kelawai
16) Lorong Burma from Jalan Kelawai to Persiaran Gurney
17) Jalan Birch from Persiaran Gurney to Jalan Kelawai
18) Jalan Lim Chin Guan from Jalan Kelawai to Persiaran Gurney
19) New road beside Gurney Paragon from Jalan Kelawai to Persiaran Gurney
20) Traffic from Jalan Gottlieb turn right to Burma Road and Jalan Bagan Jermal turn right to Mount Erskine
